Social Entrepreneurship was such a fun and informative class.
One of my assignments was to develop an ‘elevator pitch’ acting as an aspiring entrepreneur. I thoroughly enjoyed working on this plan to come alongside newly graduated dental hygienists, especially in public health. Supporting these post-graduate dental hygienists can help with confidence, reduce stress, and increase retention. If I were to find a great partner to work with, I would love to pursue this idea more thoroughly.
I made this slide show for the class Higher Education in the United States. I learned about how the land that many universities are built on is Native land and how can contribute to the lost culture of Native peoples. Being a student at NAU, I have read many syllabi that include a way to honor the use of the land that the university occupies and worked on this slide show as a way to come up with a way to bring back Native culture and not just continue to ignore or erase it.
